Actually, if you take out a large percentage of one ingredient used to make it, naturally, the same recipe will look to have increased the amount of sugar when viewed as a percentage, because that's all that's left over. So if it still has to add up to 100% because it's still a whole product, then the sugar (and everything else) has to go up. The sugar, usually making up 15% or more in a "full-fat" recipe, will increase more than other macros on the nutritional panel as it's naturally occuring in milk and is usually also added. Obviously, when it comes to volume, the numbers go up to so they can have matching size serves and tubs.

I have a friend who does feel sensitive about weight loss progression photos. He pmed me and told me he's happy for me and asked if I could hide those from him. This is a totally fine thing imo because I just have to be cognizant to post that stuff into a folder he can't see and our friendship has remained completely intact otherwise. To speak to why weight loss may be demonized - it's may be that not enough people and 'professionals' connect that it's largely a mental health journey, not a journey in a gym or at the grocery store.
